This housing co-op (borettslag) enjoys a superb, central position in historic Møhlenpris. The area is calm and quiet, defined by charming streets and handsome architecture. The whole neighbourhood has been undergoing renewal, with restored period buildings, new developments, cobbled courtyards, benches and flower beds, and attractive green spaces.

The walk into the city centre takes approximately 10 minutes, and the university institutions are lined up close by. BI Norwegian Business School is just a few minutes' walk from home, and the university campus at Høyden is approximately 6 minutes on foot from the front door. The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Haukeland Hospital and the new university college at Kronstad are both within cycling distance.

When the weekend arrives, it is good to know there are several cafés in the area. Møllaren Café has a warm, historic interior and serves both lunch and dinner. Nobel Bopel is another neighbourhood café with a lively offering and a focus on local produce and quality. The nearest grocer is Spilde, a charming local shop offering, among other things, fresh rolls and bread from Colonialen. There is also Bunnpris – both shops open on Sundays – and the new Rema 1000 in O J Brochs gate.

Nearby lies Nygårdsparken – a green oasis with lovely paths, lush planting and a recently upgraded area around the pond. On warm summer days, Marineholmen city beach is the perfect place to unwind on white sand, and there are new quayside promenades on both sides of the fjord. Møhlenpris sports ground and beautiful walks along Store Lungegårdsvann and Puddefjorden are just minutes away.

For the active, gyms such as SATS, Next and Barry's Bootcamp are close at hand. Swimmers have a short walk to the Student Centre at Høyden and AdO Arena by Store Lungegårdsvannet, and the football pitch at Møhlenpris is a stone's throw from the front door. Lovers of the outdoors are spoilt for choice within easy walking distance: in one direction Løvstakken and Damsgårdsfjellet, in the other superb walks around Store Lungegårdsvannet, Ulriken and Fløyen.
